Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy explains how cancellations, returns, delivery-related issues, and refunds are handled by Intermobile Container, LLC.

Because shipping containers and related products are large industrial goods that often involve freight scheduling, depot coordination, and product reservation, returns and refunds are handled differently than ordinary small-parcel retail items.

1. Order Review Before Purchase

Customers are encouraged to review the product listing, specifications, condition description, delivery terms, and total charges carefully before placing an order. If you have any questions, contact us before completing your purchase.

2. Order Cancellations Before Dispatch or Pickup Release

An order may be eligible for cancellation before dispatch or pickup release, but cancellation approval is not automatic.

If a cancellation is requested before shipment or pickup release, Intermobile Container, LLC may issue a refund less any non-recoverable costs already incurred, including where applicable:

payment processing fees
administrative fees
inventory reservation costs
carrier booking fees
special handling fees
custom or special-order costs

If the product has already been dispatched, tendered to a carrier, released for pickup, specially reserved, or modified for the customer, cancellation may be denied or only partially refunded.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns

Due to the nature of shipping containers and freight logistics, change-of-mind returns are generally not accepted after dispatch, pickup release, or completed delivery, unless Intermobile Container, LLC agrees otherwise in writing.

If a discretionary change-of-mind return is approved, the customer will be responsible for all return freight, handling, and any applicable restocking or recovery fees. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.

4. Product Condition and Used Inventory

Some products sold by Intermobile Container, LLC may be used, cargo-worthy, storage-grade, wind and watertight, or otherwise sold according to the condition stated in the listing. Used products may show signs of prior service, wear, cosmetic variation, repaired areas, surface rust, dents, scratches, or other normal characteristics consistent with their listed grade or condition.

Such ordinary condition characteristics do not by themselves qualify the product for return or refund if the delivered product materially matches the listing description.

5. Delivery Damage or Material Order Issues

If you believe an order arrived with visible freight damage, a missing item, or a material discrepancy from what was ordered, you must notify us immediately and no later than 24 hours after delivery or pickup.

Please send your report to sales@intermobilecontainer.com and include:

your order number
your full name and contact information
photos of the product and any issue
a short written description of the problem
any notes made on the delivery receipt, if available

We may request additional documentation before determining the appropriate resolution.

6. Approved Resolutions

If we determine that the delivered product was materially incorrect, materially misdescribed, or damaged in a way covered by our obligations, we may choose, at our discretion and subject to applicable law, to provide one of the following remedies:

replacement
repair
partial refund
return authorization and refund
another commercially reasonable resolution

7. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

Unless required by law or approved by Intermobile Container, LLC in writing, the following are generally non-returnable and may be non-refundable:

customized or modified units
special-order inventory
reserved or location-specific inventory
delivered or released freight items returned for convenience
products returned without authorization
items damaged after delivery due to customer handling, unloading, storage, site conditions, or misuse

8. Return Authorization Required

No return may be sent or tendered back without prior written approval from Intermobile Container, LLC. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

If a return is approved, we will provide return instructions. The customer must follow those instructions exactly. Approved returns must be shipped or made available in substantially the same condition as delivered, except for any issue already reported and approved.

9. Refund Timing

If a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution, and the nature of the original transaction.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us first so we can review and try to resolve the matter promptly. Filing a chargeback while refusing reasonable review, documentation, or resolution steps may delay final handling of the matter.
